Technical Director

Michael has 35 years’ experience in the design and operation of mineral processing projects and has a strong understanding of the full project life cycle from discovery, development, design, commissioning, operations, through to closure.

Royce McAuslane

Managing Director

Royce has over 24 years’ experience in delivering technically and financially robust studies and projects for precious and base metal projects in a range of greenfield and brownfield locations across Africa, Asia and Australia.

Claudia Van Dijk

Leader of Finance, Leader of People & Culture

Claudia began her career in finance as a commercial banker for a “Big 4” bank, but after a number of years Claudia took the decision to leave the corporate banking world behind and enter private enterprise, joining a private global software business. She has not looked back.

Stephen Green

Principal Consultant, Metallurgy & Process

Stephen has over 34 years’ experience in operation, production and technical services roles for state-of-the-art base metal concentrators and for large capacity, low-grade gold plants.

Ian Mitchell

Principal Process Engineer

Ian has over 36 years of processing experience in the mining industry with an emphasis on gold, copper and nickel extraction, including nearly 20 years of management experience & a decade of operational/technical roles working at a number of minesites around Australia for companies such as LionOre and Newcrest Mining, amongst others.

John Haywood

Principal Consultant, Geology

A geologist with over 35 years of industrial experience in Australia, Africa and South America, with extensive experience in operational mine geology, mineral resource estimation, brownfields exploration, management, mining studies and project evaluation.

Mike Wardell-Johnson

Principal Process Engineer

Mike has 30+ years' experience in commissioning, operational, technical and maintenance aspects of mineral processing and hydrometallurgical plants. He has worked in several commodities including gold, lithium, nickel, cobalt and iron ore, on sites in around Australia, and overseas in Mali, Senegal, Ghana and Papua New Guinea.

Adam Bird

Lead Process Engineer

Adam is a metallurgist and process engineer with 14 years’ experience in engineering design, mining operations, project management and consulting roles across gold, copper, zinc, lead and iron ore projects based in Australia, Canada, Europe, north & central America, and west Africa.

JP Kelmar

Senior Process Engineer

JP is a chemical engineer with over 15 years’ experience in mineral processing in the Americas and Australia. JP has developed skills across a wide range of engineering, and has in depth knowledge of alumina processing and solid/liquid separation.

Emma Simper

Project Secretary

Emma is an Accredited Editor with strong writing, proofreading, document creation and formatting skills. After a decade of working as an Executive Assistant for heads of department in major international banks, firstly in Sydney, and then London, she returned to Australia in 2010 with her family.
